My name is Qamuuqin. I live in Ashland, Oregon. It’s fine and dandy. I enjoy bicycles and what not, along with a handful of other stuff (including but never limited to photography, poetry and other writing, walking, hiking, hiking and walking, water, being in water, air, breathing air, the sound of the wind in the mountains as it whistles through the forest, frisbees and friends, the sun on my face, the rain on my skin, good food and good people, staring at oceans, jumping into the wind, and a few other things, too). Life is grand and hauntingly beautiful.
I tend to think of everything in life in terms of bicycles and that makes things pretty alright. This blog/website is my attempt to showcase and document the world and life as it is how I see it. With bicycles.
Why “life” and “cycles”? And why are there parentheses around the latter? Well . . . I’ve always been rather curious about circles (and waves) and how they seemingly pop up everywhere that you want to look and see them. A lifecycle is a sort of circle, but that word by itself didn’t speak to things as I saw fit. Separating the two halves, life and cycles, made a clear delineation between the two, but kept the inherent connection to one another. Also parentheses look cool.
Please poke around and explore. I tend to mix news with videos with pictures with stories with random thoughts and writings and a whole lot more.
If you have any questions, thoughts, etc. please feel free to email me at qamuuqin(dot)maxwell(at)gmail(dot)com
This website is always changing, but I hope that it is never boring. Enjoy.
Cheers.

Hi Muuqi! I’m at your mom’s for a visit and this is the first time I have read your blog. Being an English major, I can say with some confidence and enthusiasm that your writing is very well done and your flow of thoughts is entertaining and easy to process. Nice job, and I think you have a successful future of writing ahead of you! Love you, dear nephew!! Fondly, and God bless you, Aunt Bubzy
